As of April 1st 2017 new consulate fees will apply for all types of visas.

The Chinese Embassy in Berlin announced :
From now on, a visa can be filed and picked up on the same day.
This results in additional consular fees of 35 € as well as an increased provider fee of 35,70 € gross, together 70,70 €.
This applies both to business visas and to tourist visas.

For an entry info Belarus via the airport Minsk, it is expected as of 12.2.2017, that Germans do not need a visa with a stay of up to 5 days.
The return, resp. further travel tickets as well as the valid travel health insurance and sufficient funds are to be carried along.

The application for visas can no longer be made in Hamburg.
Application documents have to be submitted through the Visa Application Center, TT Visa Services in London.
However, the DVKG can still apply for the visa.

German travelers can apply for their e-visa through www.evisa.gov.az.
The stay with an e-visa is limited to 30 days in Azerbaijan.
