Source FAZ 31.01.2020What will change for EU citizens who want to travel or immigrate to the UK?
For tourists, business travelers or immigrants, nothing will change for the time being. During the transition period, until the end of 2020, EU citizens can continue to immigrate and take up employment. It is recommended to enter the country with a passport. The more than 3 million EU citizens in the UK, including around 300,000 Germans, will retain all previous rights. The UK will then end free movement for workers. It is not yet clear exactly how immigration will be controlled and managed in the future.
