From 29 April 2023, air travelers to China must have at least one negative rapid antigen test carried out within 48 hours before departure. Children under the age of 3 are exempt from the test requirement.
The negative test result must be entered in the Chinese customs health declaration. This can be done via WeChat, the official app or the Chinese customs website.Further information can be found on the website of the Foreign Office.

The UK is introducing an electronic travel authorization. This will become mandatory as of November 2023. There is to be an exemption for EU citizens up to and including February 2024. DVKG will provide a simple application process timely in advance.

As of now, all visa categories including tourist visas can be applied for again.
From March 22 to April 20, 2023, the fasting month of Ramadan will take place, followed by the festival of breaking the fast.
