EU notification Sweden: EU notification required from first day of operation

The Swedish Work Environment Authority informs:
In order to protect the posted workers, the regulations governing posting have been amended. These will will go live on June 30th 2020:
- An EU declaration must be made by the time of entry.
- The rule that no EU declaration is required for a stay of up to 5 days does not apply.
- The receiving company must receive proof of the notification.
- The total period of posting in case of replacement of posted workers must be taken into account.
- The receiving company must inform the Swedish Work Environment Authority if there is no proof of notification. by the sending company.
- It must be ensured that existing collective agreements are observed with regard to the salary level during the period of posting.

India - Business entries are still possible under special regulations

Entry into India:
Furthermore, entry for business purposes (business visas and work visas) is possible. The following regulations apply:
- Entry with visas (business & work visas) issued after June 1, 2020.
- Verification of visas already issued and included in the passport (business & work visas). E-Visa are excluded from verification.
- New visas will only be issued and existing visas verified by the consulate in justified and demonstrably urgent cases.
- It is still not possible to issue e-visas.
- The urgency must be explained by the inviting company in India.
