From March 2, 2021, the regulations on the issuance of the green QR code with HDC mark will be adjusted as below.
I. Nucleic acid test
1. the nucleic acid test refers only to an RT-PCR test. The TMA test procedure is not accepted.
2. sample collection: throat swab or nasal swab
II. IgM antibody test
1. only test results with venous blood collection are recognized
2. the test certificates must contain the following information such as the status of the IgM antibody, venous blood collection and test method
All test certificates must include the name of the person tested, the name and address of the test site, the date of receipt, the type and time of sampling and the test method in typewritten form.
III The application procedure and the required documents
The negative test results and the following documents must be uploaded via https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/
.1. passport
2. flight ticket
3. valid Chinese visa or valid Chinese residence permit
4. German visa or German residence permit or registration certificate (travelers from non-EU countries)
5. negative test results of nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests within 48 hours before departure to China. This also applies to the above-mentioned transit passengers.
6. vaccinated persons must also present the vaccination certificate or vaccination card or upload it with the following details. These must contain the following details: Name, gender, date of birth, name of the vaccine, date and place of the first and second vaccination, signature and address of the vaccination center.
IV. The requirements for the issue of the green QR code
1. in the following cases, the green QR code with the HDC symbol is issued by Chinese missions abroad in Germany:
~ If the travelers residing in Germany fly to China on direct flights from Germany
~ If the travelers are flying to China from a country without direct flight connection with China only via Germany (Such transit passengers must obtain the green QR codes from Chinese missions abroad in the country of departure and prove this QR code with the required documents)
.~ If direct flights between a country of departure and China are canceled and there is no alternative
2. in the following cases, the green QR code with HDC sign will be issued by Chinese diplomatic missions in Germany NOT :
~ If there is a direct flight connection between the country of departure and China
~ If the travelers are flying from Germany to China via a third country
~ If the transit passengers have already been in a transit country before Germany
V.Important information:
1. the special regulation that passengers simply upload the negative test results (issued at Frankfurt Airport at Centogene, Medical Center and the test center in the non-Schengen area) to the above-mentioned website (https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/) and automatically receive a large QR code will be abolished from 02 March. Instead, travelers will now have to upload the test results and required documents (see III.) via the above-mentioned website and will only receive the large QR code with the „HDC symbol" after verification by the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt.
2. travelers with cured COVID-19 disease and travelers who have tested positive for IgG antibodies must contact the relevant Chinese diplomatic missions abroad at least three weeks before their flights to China.
3. nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests can be carried out at different test centers, but they must be located in the same consular district. (see appendix)
4. travelers are requested to upload all required documents in time and as early as possible so that the documents can be checked as soon as possible. The Chinese diplomatic missions abroad will also process applications on public holidays and weekends. And issue the green QR code.

Persons who have been infected with COVID-19 within three months prior to departure must provide the airline with appropriate evidence.
An additional COVID-19 test within three to five days of entry and a minimum quarantine period of seven days are strongly recommended.
